Island Safari 1 Deluxe is a brand new, 30 meter custom built 5-star Deluxe category yacht owned and operated by Vista Company. For the ultimate experience in the rarely seen natural beauty of numerous islands of the Maldives and the wonderous underwater world that lies beneath the surface.

Capability: Powered by a 400 Horse Power Engine, this vessel is fully self contained with own generators, desalination plant, full air-conditioning and a host of modern amenities including Restaurant, Bar, Lounge, Disco and a Boutique.

Capacity: Island Safari SD has a capacity of 20 passengers served by 10 crew members in its nine (9) air-conditioned, spacious and beautifully designed cabins each with attached toilet, in addition to a coffee shop and two sundecks providing total relaxtion.

Communications: International direct dialing facility is available from the Business Center. Work is in progress to enable guests to send and receive faxes and use services of Internet and e-mails.

Diving: Divers will be delighted with Island Safari's fully equipped dive center with PADI International Certified Dive Instructor and Divemaster. Recreational facilities include Fishing, Wind Surfing, Night fishing and Snorkeling.

Itinerary and Routes

Each week-long cruise is designed to show you the best of the Maldives with a wide variety of islands and seascapes. Then captain will do his best to accommodate special requests, however, the captain has the right to change any itinerary at his own discretion due to bad weather or sea conditions.

Every week-long itinerary will include a visit to a local island, resorts, BBQ nights, entertainment nights and night fishing. Both divers and non-divers will enjoy most of these activities.

Enjoyment for Non-divers:
Non-divers will have plenty of make the best of their holiday on board our vessel, with the following activities:- Snorkelling (with a guide), Sailing, Windsurfing, Sunset fishing, Soft games, in-house entertainment like video films, etc

Accommodation

Island Safari 1 Deluxe has a total of 9 luxurious rooms - 8 Deluxe cabins and 1 Suite.

Seven of these cabins are located on the lower deck with a carpeted corridor connecting them. Cabins 1, 2, 5 and 6 have a spacious double bed and a raised single bed, whereas cabins 3 and 4 have a double bed, a single bed and a raised single bed.

Cabin 7 is the suite with a double bed, a raised single bed and a raised child's bed along with a comfortable sofa seat and a bathtub with a shower spray rather than a shower cubicle. Cabin 8 is next to the bar on the main deck and cabin 9 is next to the disco on the upper deck. Both these cabins have two single adjacent beds.

All rooms have stylish top quality fixtures and fittings with elegant wooden wardrobes, mirrors, lighting, a lockable fridge, air-conditioning and cabin-to-cabin telephones. All cabins have en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, hot and cold water and glass-door shower cubicles.

Food and Beverages

The main deck features a well-stocked bar serving international brands of alcohol, soft drinks, teas, coffees, espressos, cappuccinos and light snacks. Please note that if a particular drink is not on board you may place a request with the barman who will do his best to procure it for you. The bar has comfortable sofa-style indoor seating or if you prefer to enjoy your drink overlooking the ocean, the doors open directly onto an open deck where you can relax on sun loungers.

The dining room is wide and spacious. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are pleasant social events as well as healthy, tasty nourishment and with its wooden floor, silver cutlery on linen tablecloths and airy atmosphere we hope mealtimes become a highlight of your trip. Standard mealtimes are: Breakfast 07.00 hrs, Lunch 12.30 hrs, Dinner 19.30 hrs However, these times can be changed for divers or to fit around other excursions, etc. Should you wish to change any mealtime please discuss with the chef or Guest Co-coordinator.

Additional snacks or beverages are available for purchase from the Main Bar or from the Snack Counter on the Upper Deck.
