History
This five star resort called Royal Island has the local name Horubadhoo. Royal Island, opened in 2001 is located in Baa Atoll, which is approximately 110km from the Airport. Royal Island is just 800 meters long and 220 meters wide and has beach all around with an excellent marine life around.

Transfer to Royal Island
As soon as you arrive in Maldives at Male' International Airport, please visit the Villa Hotels Counter. Our representatives will assist you with your onward journey to Royal Island. If you wish to travel by speedboat, it takes 2 hrs & 40 minutes while the trip can be made via seaplane in only 35 minutes.
