BIGEYE TREVALLY

Depth: 2-90m.
Size: up to 85cm.
Characteristics: this trevally has a rather evident big rounded eye in the middle of its head. Its silver skin has greenish-blue reflections and the colour is lighter on the lower part of the body. Over its gills there is a small black spot and the top of its second dorsal fin is white. Younger ones have vertical dark stripes along their flanks. It lives in very large schools that make very choreographic formations while not hunting.
