WOLF CARDINALFISH
Habitat: sheltered areas and lagoon reef
Depth: 5-25m.
Size: up to 20cm.
Characteristics: this cardinalfish, like many other in its family, has a peculiar bicoloured longitudinally striped skin; at its tail joint there is a dark spot, not always visible. It generally lives in small groups near the entrance to caves or over corals and sea fans. It stays immobile in the morning and moves around to feed during the afternoon.
